Large double sided slips offer protection and easy port and starboard access.  Each slip comes with an ample sized slip-side storage shed, hose bib, + shore power.  Two onshore private restrooms include showers.

Location

The marina is located just 2 miles downstream from the Sauvie Island Bridge on Sauvie Island.  A small boat public launch is available 1/4 mi downstream of the marina.  Haul-out yacht services are available just upstream and downstream at Multnomah Yacht Repair and Rocky Point Marina.  

Island Marina is private – with access only to tenants and their guests.

About

Marina History

The marina was established in 1975 as a Sailboat moorage, and has been servicing local sailors ever since.  Formally known as Parker’s Marina and Big Island Marina, Island Marina has proven popular with sailors due the marina’s deep water slips, picturesque setting, location on Sauvie Island, and unique community of sailors.  

“This may be the only sailboat only moorage on the west coast”

Management

The property and marina is owned by local Portland family and fellow sailors from the Willamette Sailing Club.  The owners reside on-site, maintaining a safe and quiet place — to keep your boat.  

The Team

Heather — Management | Co-Owner

Heather works behind the scenes managing all things tenant related- book keeping, invoices, applications, tenant contact.  Heather enjoys talking out the canoe for a morning paddle on the Multnomah Channel.

Mike – Management | Co-Owner

Mike’s the general go-to hands-on for marina stuff.   Talk to Mike if you want to bring your boat to Island Marina, or want to learn more about what Island Marina can do for you.  When off the mower, Mike enjoy’s a summer go-out in their Celebrity sloop.

Conrad – Operations

Conrad is a student at OSU, and helps out at the marina during summer months and breaks.  Conrad is the marina’s mechanical specialist and handles the engine and equipment maintenance and repairs.  Conrad enjoy’s Thistle fleet racing.
